KS1 Enrichment first aid

This afternoon a group of Key Stage 1 children enjoyed taking part in The Big First Aid Lesson 2017 as part of our Outdoor Adventures Enrichment Afternoon. This was a live event across the country organised by St Johns Ambulance, where children were taught how to treat burns, someone choking and how to call 999. We also learnt to Stop, Drop and Roll if our clothes caught fire.

Y3 Stonehenge Visitor

02/11/2017

Year 3 had great fun today in a workshop about Stonehenge. We learnt that the Stone Age people were remarkable at using simple technology to move the large, heavy stones to make Stonehenge. We explored the ways they reduced friction by rolling the stones and considered different theories which required a great deal of teamwork. Thank you to Mr Davis at King Edwards School for visiting us today.
